Jersey's unique seashore, shaped by our remarkable tides, affords us all a wonderful habitat where we can relax, reflect, restore and grow. Our coast also makes for an extraordinary "classroom" ~ without walls or conventional boundaries.

Since the beginning of 2013, Andrew has been working for the States of Jersey Education Department, providing support outdoors to young people with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. He also has a keen interest in and hard won understanding of Autistic Spectrum Condition. These days, most of his guided walks are private sessions, but a small number of public low tide walks for Summer/Autumn 2015 are listed below.

“Finish your stay in Jersey with a bracing walk. The best one is the Moon Walk. Jersey has one of the greatest tidal movements in the world and between April and October, when the tide goes right out, a lunar-like landscape of rock pools, reefs and sand banks is revealed. For £10, you can join local marine biologist Andrew Syvret for a guided tour.” The Mail on Sunday 26 September 2004
